The short skirt is a fashion trend that seems to have some degree of popularity. it is a fun and flirty fashion. This short skirt is worn on the hips and barely covers the backside, it looks quite crazy and funky but still very interesting and stylish. Wearing a short skirt is perfect for a fun night out on the town, it is very nature a very feminine piece of apparel
The short skirt comes in many different styles and fabrics making it as fashionable today as it was 20 years ago. The short skirt looks best on teens and young women, especially those with good legs and a shapely figure. Many women like to wear a short skirt when they go to a club. While dancing in a short skirt can be fun it also attracts attention, especially from the opposite sex. One of the latest trends that you may have seen on celebrities is to wear the super short skirt. You can try them on before you purchase them or view them online to see what the skirt will look like.
The short skirt looks best on teens and young women, especially those with good legs and a shapely figure. Short skirts are usually worn during the hotter summer months because they are cool, allowing you're legs to breath and also allow you to get almost a complete tan of you're legs. While wearing a short skirt is a fun fashion trend, it is not appropriate to wear them to church or school. Many high schools have dress codes that dictate the minimum length of a skirt and will not allow anyone wearing a short skirt to attend.
Larger women can look sexy and stylish in a short skirt if their choice of skirt lenght is balanced. Plus Size Pencil skirt is especially suitable for those larger women that do not have a large difference between waist and hip measurement. The right choice of sexy plus size short skirt is just below the knees. . It has to be said with all truth and honesty that short skirts aren't for everybody and a person with a pair of legs which are less than attractive will in fact divert attention away from their better attributes and draw them to the legs, which isn't a good thing.
When wearing short skirts, combining them with matching stockings in semi-opaque styles gives you a more professional look; sheer skin-colored and patterned hose draw undue attention to the legs. Try some colored stripes so they can match anything. Or pick your favorite colors and you'll probably find they'll match a lot of what you already have By selecting solid skirts in the neutral colors of your palette, you will have the flexibility to create combinations with all the colors that complement you. Under the skirt, the flapper wore sheer flesh-colored stockings, rolled and twisted to keep them in place without garters.
Effective skirt wearing is an art, and like any other art, there’s a satisfaction in developing and improving it. Insofar as wearing a skirt is an art, however, it’s significantly different from applying make-up. The art of wearing a skirt is one which continues thought our time spent cross dressing. A skirt still needs to be managed while we are sitting. The effect of sitting down without caution in modern skirts is less dramatic; but the act can expose areas we might choose to keep hidden.

Do Women's Self Defense Classes Actually Work?
Submitted By: Christine Stuart
Women's self-defense classes can be invaluable for protection, but care must be taken that the self-defense techniques taught are right for the students in question. Because self-defense is an extremely popular topic these days, even those who are not experts in women's self-defense can be teaching classes. It behooves you, therefore, to find the right training and instructor for you, based upon what you want.
First of all, many self-defense techniques taught to men will not work for women, because women are both faced with different situations (i.e., rape) that men are generally not faced with, and they lack the physical brute strength that most men have. In short, women have only about half the brute strength of men (although they often do tend to have greater endurance strength, which is nonetheless unfortunately not often useful in attack situations). Pound for pound, because men have more muscle than women do, they are simply stronger for "short burst" strength situations, such as lifting -- or fighting off an attacker.
Second of all, while men are likely to be punched or kicked in the attack situation, women are more likely to be slapped, grabbed and pinned. This means that women need different techniques to get out of particular situations and to protect themselves than men do.
Martial arts techniques comprise one way to somewhat even the score for women, despite their generally smaller size and diminished brute physical strength compared to men. Martial arts can not only increase women's sense of security and safety because they are better able to defend themselves, but it also comprises a way of life that will help them manage challenges in general, not just in dangerous situations.
In order to best utilize martial arts in the area of self-defense, women need to find an instructor that specializes in self-defense. Although many martial arts instructors do, each woman should do her homework and find an instructor who particularly focuses on this for at least some of the class. If it's not possible to find a martial arts instructor who can specialize in self-defense, then you can still find a self-defense instructor separate from martial arts, but take martial arts training nonetheless to both increase physical endurance and help you manage and diffuse the mental challenges that go hand in hand with a physical attack situation.
In this case, you'll want to find a self-defense instructor that does NOT focus on tough guy tactics, such as fighting off your attacker. In most self-defense situations, this is not practical for women, since as stated before, it's the wrong way to react in a given situation that involves women.
Rather, the instructor needs to focus on women's strengths, including intuition, and focus on the ability to size up the situation and get out of it early so that an attack doesn't even happen. Should an attack occur, the woman should practice "distract and run" techniques, such as throwing your keys in the opposite direction and then running the other way. Another tactic is to learn the ability to "talk your way out of" a particular situation should it begin to escalate.
One of the biggest things a good self-defense class should do is to put the kibosh on a woman's tendency to be "nice" in difficult situations. Should you find yourself in the face of an attacker, that simple pause where you hesitate because you don't want to "hurt" someone may lead to your undoing. Therefore, you should always follow your intuition and get out of the situation as quickly as you can, even if it means hurting your attacker to get away.

Hair Care Tips For Problem Hair
Submitted By: Elizabeth Roth
Not everyone has the beautiful, lustrous hair that you see on the television fashion models. Most people have at least something that they do not like about their hair. It might be too straight or too curly. They might not like the color. Maybe they are going gray earlier than they would like, or their hair has been damaged from too many styling products. No matter what the damage, there are things that can be done to help hair recover. In addition, there are things that can be done to make hair better and more manageable while it recovers. In other words, recovery takes time, but there are things that you can do to make your hair look better while you are waiting. These are the kinds of things that most women – and men who have trouble with their hair – are not aware of. They really do not think about it. Instead, they focus on the recovery of their hair and think that they just have to live with it until it gets better. In some cases this may be true, but usually there is something that can be done besides wearing a wig or a hat!
For people with very straight hair, there are some options. Shampoos and conditioners exist that are designed to help these people have more body in their hair. Often straight hair is limp and lifeless, and adding some extra body will help this out immensely. There are other people with straight hair, though, who have plenty of hair – it just does not want to do anything but hang there. For these people, a body creating product might be helpful, but they may also want to do something more, such as getting a permanent wave to give their hair some curl. These products are much better than they used to be, and the results last longer and look better than in the past. People with straight hair might also consider having it cut in a short style or keeping it pulled back most of the time so that it does not hang in their face too much.
For the opposite end of the spectrum – people with naturally curly hair – they can have it straightened. There are products to do this, and there are also flat irons that will take the curl out of hair temporarily. Having it chemically straightened will last longer, but it also is much harder on the hair and should be done professionally for best results. A flat iron can be used at home, but it does take a little bit of time to flatten and straighten all of the hair. Frizzy hair is also a problem. However, what causes the frizz is important to know so that it can be corrected. One of the most common causes of frizzy hair is split ends. For this problem, the ends often have to be cut off. If the hair is very long and the frizz problem has gone on for a long time, cutting the hair short may be the only alternative. There are products designed to repair split ends but they do not work on very severe cases and they do not work overnight. Checking with a good stylist can make all the difference.

Water Helps Curb Cravings
Submitted By: Diana Walker
If you've been having trouble with sticking to your healthy eating plan when you get a craving, you may want to reach for a handy diet aid: water. A lot of people don't realize that water can be a powerful tool in helping to curb cravings.
There are several reasons why water is the perfect thing to reach for when you are feeling the need to snack. The first is purely because water is something that will fill your stomach. When you are feeling hungry, even if you know that you are not, you can use water to make you feel full. Drinking water before and after a meal can help you eat less. You'll also avoid those hunger “crashes” that make you reach for the nearest candy bar.
Water also helps reduce cravings at the molecular level. Your entire body needs water in order to function. Proper water consumption will ensure that your body has the hydration that it needs to metabolize your food. Without the presence of enough water, your body will not be able to get the nutrients from the food that you eat. Many food cravings are based on your body's need for specific nutrients. If you don't have enough water in your body, you'll continue getting cravings for food no matter how much you eat. Your body won't be able to process the food you are eating effectively enough to be helpful.
Water is essential to using fat properly. When your body isn't processing fat the way that it should it only has one other option: storage. The more fat you have, the more food your body needs to maintain it's “set point” weight, and anything under that means that you'll be craving food. In order to curb your cravings, you need to turn your body into a fat burning machine and that's just not possible without proper water intake.
Your liver is one of your main fat burning organs, when it is able to do its job properly. But if you don't have enough water, it starts a chain reaction of events that inhibit the liver and your fat burning potential. Your intake of water makes your kidneys work properly, but if you are dehydrated they will suffer. The kidneys will rely on your liver more heavily, which means that the liver can't do everything that it is supposed to – namely burn fat! When you drink enough water, you are keeping your kidneys active and making it easy for your liver to burn fat.
Water also plays an important role in using another helpful “curb your cravings” ally: fiber. You may have read that in order to reduce your cravings and lose weight, you need to eat a lot of fiber rich foods. Fiber is very important, but only if it is activated in your body. If you don't drink enough water, your fiber intake won't have as much impact. Fiber only works for you when it is combined with water. It gives you that “full” feeling and helps flush toxins from your body only when it absorbs the water that is in your body. If there isn't enough water to spare, your body won't allow absorption, and the fiber will remain useless.

Diet your way to a longer life?
By Debra Tan
Have you ever tried spending thousands of dollars on skincare products in an effort to make your skin look more youthful and luminous, but to be disappointed in the end that nothing works? Perhaps external products are just not sufficient to achieve that aim and we should also focus on our diet for a holistic approach to a more youthful appearance.
Lately, people are searching for the fountain of youth, but not with facelifts or Botox. They are turning to their diet to help them live longer.
Research on monkeys, rodents, fish and even insects has shown that if calories are cut below what the animal would normally choose to eat, they actually live longer.
A recent study at Tufts University shows that people who restrict their calories do not just live longer, they are healthier. In an animal study conducted, the animals actually aged biologically slower. Their hair has gone gray less quickly. Their hormones have stayed at their youthful profile and their immune function has stayed good.
So what is the theory behind this research?
With fewer calories, cells throughout the body appear to die more slowly and repair themselves more easily. Research on fruit flies and rats has shown that a 30% reduction in calories can lead to 30% longer life, according to the National Institute of Health.
There are 2 simple “drug-free” ways to help you to maintain a moderate diet and keeping your weight down:
1. Eat slowly. Or take a break in the middle of your meal, go outside and have a fruit juice.
Theory: By the time you return to your meal, you will find that you are no longer hungry. It takes some time for the body to digest the food and send the signals to the brain that you are already satiated. Giving your body enough time to make this neural connection will prevent you from overeating.
2. Wear a shapewear.
Theory: Shapewear are specialized medical grade garments that compresses at a particular pressure that is optimal to blood and lymph flow.
Shapewear meant for cellulite purposes may resemble a pair of undergarments or a pair of tights, and will help to reduce cellulite by improving lymphatic drainage and eliminating water retention. Shapewear that compresses around the abdomen can also act as an “appetite suppressant” as you are less likely to feel hungry.
So is there really a fountain of youth in eating less? Well, there certainly appears to be a small fountain. Given the genes we have got, we can certainly do our best to have a healthier lifestyle by choosing to eat wisely. As the old saying goes, “you are what you eat”. So it is really up to us to choose to eat well and live well.

Foot Massage Pampering for Our Tired and Aching Feet
By Muna Wa Wanjiru
While many of us have experienced having our bodies and necks massaged and soothingly rubbed there are very few of us who think that our feet might need this pampering too. A foot massage is the best type of pampering that we can give our tired and aching feet.
While many of us have experienced having our bodies and necks massaged and soothingly rubbed there are very few of us who think that our feet might need this pampering too. A foot massage is the best type of pampering that we can give our tired and aching feet.
You can give your feet a soothing foot massage or ask a friend to help you have a foot massage. To start your foot massage you will need to have your feet cleaned. You can soak your feet in Epsom salts, lavender or peppermint oil for 10 minutes in a warm water foot bath.
Dry the feet thoroughly and make sure that even the area between your toes is dry. Once the feet are beginning to dry you will need to rub some soothing oil on your feet. Hold one foot in your lap and use one hand to support this foot.
With the other hand you should begin to massage the top of the foot. For this part of the foot massage you will need to use your thumbs. Slow, firm, stroking motions that start at your toes and move upwards to the ankles are the best way to start this foot massage.
When you are near the ankles the foot massage will follow the same path back down to your toes.
The return journey should be accompanied by slow stroking with the thumbs providing the required massage. The pressure that is applied at the toes should be lighter than at the ankle. You will need to repeat this foot massage 5 times.
Next in a cupping motion you will need to gently hold the heel of your foot. With your free hand hold the top of the foot and gently rotate the foot. The first rotation should be done clockwise and next anticlockwise.
Repeat this step about 4 times to relax, calm and de-stress your aching foot and ankle joints. This foot massage must be done gently so that you don’t end up hurting your foot as a result of the foot massage.
When you have completed rotating the foot you will need to give your soles a really soothing foot massage. This part of the foot massage begins at the base of your big toe. The foot massage for the toes starts with the big toe.
Once your big toe has been given a de-stressing massage, the foot massage will then move towards the other toes. Gentle rolling motions can provide the ball of your foot a relaxing foot massage.
By the time your foot massage will have been carried out on both of your feet, you will have calmed down and your day’s stresses will have vanished as well. The added bonus is that your feet are all ready for walking around your home with no aches or pains to be felt.

Diet your way to a longer life?
By Debra Tan
Have you ever tried spending thousands of dollars on skincare products in an effort to make your skin look more youthful and luminous, but to be disappointed in the end that nothing works? Perhaps external products are just not sufficient to achieve that aim and we should also focus on our diet for a holistic approach to a more youthful appearance.
for the fountain of youth, but not with facelifts or Botox.
1.Eat slowly.
2.Wear a shapewear.

Diabetic Footwear: For Your Feet & Your Health
Submitted By: Gary Gordon
Why Diabetic Footwear Protects Your Feet and Your Health
When it comes to your health and diabetes, diabetic footwear probably is isn't the first thing on your mind. You're probably more concerned about your sugar levels and how those are affecting your body. And this is a good thing too. By controlling your blood sugar, you can minimize the problems you will have with your feet in first place. But by adding another level of protection to your feet, you can ensure that your diabetes doesn't become painful or even crippling.
Why Are Your Feet Affected by Diabetes?
What many people don’t realize is just how hard our feet work everyday. From walking to pushing us from one position to another, our feet help to stabilize our weight and to ensure that we can remain mobile. When you have diabetes, there are two problems that can occur in relation to your feet. First of all, you can have nerve damage to your feet, which can cause troubles with your ability to feel problems with your feet or any feelings at all. In addition, the circulation to your feet can be compromised with diabetes, causing sores and infections to heal much more slowly than normal. In order to protect the feet, diabetic footwear can help to create a safer place for your feet – not just before you have pain, but when you've already been diagnosed with foot problems in relation to your diabetes.
What Your Sugar Has to Do With It
When you're not controlling your diabetes through the proper use of insulin, other medications and your diet, you are doing your body a disservice. This can impede your blood flow even more, which causes a higher probability that your feet will have troubles. High intake of blood sugar can cause damage to your blood vessels because your body can't handle it or process it like most others can. This will diminish your circulation. If you're a diabetic patient, part of your care regimen should be to manage your blood sugar levels as recommended by your doctor. But in addition to this healthy lifestyle, you can also choose diabetic footwear to help you maintain mobility and strength.
Protecting Those Toes
The connection between diabetes and foot troubles is clear, so there are a number of diabetic footwear options for you to wear. These shoes will help to cradle your feet to prevent injuries, while also being designed to help improve the circulation and blood flow. Basically, these shoes are crafted to prevent stress at certain points of your foot where there is a higher likelihood of injuries and damage – the heels, the ball of the foot, etc. By having these shoes professionally fitted and wearing them on a regular basis, you can ensure that your foot won't have complications.
Diabetic footwear works to help your feet, even if you are taking good care of your health and of your sugar levels. Adding another layer of protection can only continue to prevent foot ulcers, sores, and dangerous infections that can cause more troubles than you want or that you need to face.

Anti Aging Treatments Are About Much More Than Merely Removing the Wrinkle Off Ones Face
By Muna Wa Wanjiru
I don’t think there is any person in the whole wide world who doesn’t want to continue looking young, even after they have passed middle age. Everyone, no matter how young or old they actually are, would like to look and feel young. This is not just related to the aesthetic appearance based things but also to general health and well being. Nobody likes the wrinkles and pains that old age brings with it. Which is why, anti-aging research has been the one industry where billions of dollars have been pumped in over the past few years. All of it in the quest for anti aging treatments!
When one uses the phrase ‘anti aging treatments’, the first thing that comes to mind is anti wrinkle creams! In fact, these creams have become almost synonymous with anti aging treatments and have thus given the entire genre a stunted and narrow definition. But anti aging treatments are about much more than merely removing the wrinkle off ones face! Anti aging treatments are all about holistically treating the aging human body to make it look and feel young. And this involves much more than the merely superficial. Although looking young is most evident in the physical appearance, it has a lot more to do with the overall health and fitness of the body. And genuine anti aging treatments will concentrate on the inner well being as a precursor to external appearance.
But the world of anti wrinkle creams, face stretching creams and the like have given the entire field of anti aging treatments a bad name. Superficial anti aging treatments treat merely the external body. But even then, superficial anti aging treatments are a multi million dollar industry. Studies estimate that nearly 80% of the over the counter drugs and creams sold as part of anti aging treatments, actually belong to the superficial or external cosmetic category. And when the industry itself is worth several billions, you can safely imagine how large that is!
But more important than using anti aging products, is learning to choose the one that are beneficial. It is not true to say that all prescribed anti aging products are beneficial. In fact, any cosmetic anti aging product brings with it a certain amount of side effects. This is because anti aging product go against nature as it were. They try to reverse and sustain what is essentially a natural degradation of the human body. And anything that tries to reverse the natural, naturally faces resistance. This resistance could take the form of mild, rashes and pains. But if intensive chemical anti aging treatments like invasive surgery, botox injections and the like are used, they could leave more serious effects like scarring and freezing of the facial tissue.
However, there is a school of thought that anti aging treatments are a recourse adopted by the busy and the stressed out population as a way to regain their youth. It has been found for instance that almost all anti aging treatments are used by urban and cosmopolitan dwellers. Rural dwellers on the other hand, scarcely feel the need to use anti aging treatment. Their simple lives help them live longer and fitter lives.

Looking For The Top 10 Diets?
Submitted By: B.J. Gordey
Want to know what the Top 10 Diets are? So did we; so we decided to find out what the most searched for diets were on Google - the number one search engine. And here are the top 10 diets, starting with number 10:
10) Ornish Diet - The Ornish diet was developed by Dr. Dean Ornish, as a low fat diet for vegetarians. His plan was to create a diet to help avoid clogged arteries rather than later having to deal with them. His credo is this is your life you should own it and learn to manage your diet and day to day stress.
9) Zone Diet - The Zone diet which was created by Dr. Barry Sears, is a reduced calorie diet, and has one simple premise - use food as fuel. Eating the proper ratio of low carbohydrates, dietary fat, and lean protein you can burn excess body fat and keep it off permanently.
8) Okinawa Diet - First published in 2001, the Okinawa Diet is an outline of healthy habits based on the lifestyle and diet of the Okinawans who have the highest rate of centenarians (40 per 100,000) on earth. With lots of vegetables and complex carbohydrates this diet gets a great deal of its protein from tofu.
7) Genotype Diet - Dr. Peter J. D’Adamo, author of Eat Right 4 Your Type, has done it again, and now identifies six distinct genetic body types. Whether you are a Nomad, Warrior, Explorer, Teacher, Gatherer, or a Hunter, Dr. D’Adamo offers a customized program that compliments your genetic makeup.
6) DASH Diet - was created by the NIH (National Institute of Health) to lower cholesterol and blood pressure without benefit of medication. This diet has lots of fruits and vegetables, with low fat and/or nonfat dairy, beans, fish and poultry, grains, nuts and lean meats. This diet has 28 days of meal plans along with the recipes.
5) Diabetic Diet - Dr. Richard K. Bernstein brings a new low-carb diet plan that has enabled his patients to control their disease by stabilizing their blood sugar without the usual highs and lows and with fewer drugs.
4) Weight Watchers Diet - We first heard of Weight Watchers in the early to mid 60's. And some 97% of Weight Watcher’s members say they not only like the plan they would recommend the diet to a friend. There are no forbidden foods or required prepackaged food to purchase. With several eating plans, you have lots of choices on Weight Watchers.
3) South Beach Diet - This diet was created by Dr. Arthur Agatston, a cardiologist, for his patients to use to improve insulin and cholesterol and levels. But to his surprise, not only did this low-fat and low-carbohydrate diet improve their health, it also caused his patients to drop a lot of weight.
2) Mediterranean Diet - For 50 years, doctors have observed that people of the Mediterranean area were much less likely to suffer heart disease or strokes. They attribute the region's health to a diet low in saturated-fat with plenty of whole grains. This reduced fat diet, with lots of complex carbohydrates is one of the easiest to follow.
1) Atkins Diet - Dr. Robert Atkins, whose diet books have been on the bestseller lists for years, is the author of "The Atkins Diet". Dr. Atkins advocates a high protein weight loss diet which emphasizes the benefits of protein and the dangers of carbohydrates. Still number one, after all these years.

Essential Information About Diabetes
Submitted By: Asep Komara
It is estimated that globally the number of people suffering from the diabetes disease falls within the range of close to one hundred and fifty million excluding new infections. Health officials basing on the above indicators are now convinced that the diabetes trend now satisfies all the conditions of a full-scale epidemic and hence they have gone ahead to declare it as such, alongside renewed measures to launch a relentless combat assault against it.
In this article, the reader will be treated through an elaborate discussion of the nature of the disease, the causative factors and its management in line with the current information about it.
Diabetes is a chronic disease arising by either the failure of the body system to secrete the hormone insulin. The second factor could be that either the body system generates insufficient quantities of the hormone or in the reverse case the insulin secreted is being resisted by the body, hence an inability of the hormone to discharge its functions. The insulin hormone facilitates the conversion of glucose into readily usable energy for the cells to provide the energy demands of the body.
What happens in an insulin defect is that, instead of glucose being broken into simple sugars to be used by the cellular system, it rather experiences a wholesale spillage into the blood stream thus raising the sugar concentration of the blood.
This state of high sugar content in the blood is termed hyperglycemia. The body system in its quest to restore the internal fluid chemistry to its optimum level goes through the filtration process in collaboration with the kidney (filtration organ). The kidney after going through the filtration cycle then excretes out the excess unwanted sugars through the urinary system.
The inevitable consequence of the deliberate deprivation of the body system of the much needed energy requirement is a woeful drop in energy levels, which is instead needed to serve the body`s combustion needs. Consequently, it then affects the ability of the sufferer to engage in highly physical activities, this is one of the many visible signs of the onset of the diabetes disease.
In the broadest sense, this is about the disease. However, due to the complexity of the disease it is classified into three major categories, in order to increase the chances of managing it efficiently. Depending on whether the body is incapacitated to secrete the insulin hormone or a general resistance by the body system to the performance of the hormone, then it satisfies the classification criteria for either Type I or Type II respectively. A third diabetic group though very subtle is the result of a defect or an anomaly in a pancreatic tissue responsible for the production of the insulin hormone. This state is a result of several factors that can include the side effect of a known malady of the pancreas or a previous experience of trauma suffered by the pancreas.
In any case, both Type I and Type II continue to exhibit similar visible signs such as:
- High affinity for water, which is not associated with any strenuous physical activity or an increase in external environmental temperatures resulting in perspiration couple with persistent unexplained acute hunger;
- Progressive general weight loss;
- A fall in general energy levels;
- Continues and frequent urinating.
This disease is generally not contagious, which means it cannot be transmitted from a carrier to a non-carrier. In some cases, it is known to be part of genetic condition, and indeed, in recent times unhealthy lifestyles have been identified to be a trigger factor of the disease. Bad eating habits that cause obesity have an intricate connection with a high chance of developing a diabetic condition.
Should you observe any of these symptoms, the wisest action to take is to immediately see a doctor who will order a laboratory fasting plasma glucose test to ascertain your blood sugar level. It is gratifying to note that, though there is no known permanent cure for diabetes it can be rightly managed medically to enable a patient lead a normal live.
Under the limitation of current medical technology, oral medication, advice with regard to proper dietary management, some regular physical exercises, and the administration of artificial insulin are the known treatment choices available to patients to date.
Undiagnosed and untreated diabetes can pose a mortal danger to any body, to this end it is highly recommended that as far as practicable people should seek to know the state of their blood sugar level. It is a sign of responsibility towards our personal health status.

Low Calorie Diets Are A Waste Of Time
Submitted By: Samantha I. Snare
Guess what? Low calorie diets are a waste of time. If you've tried as many low calorie based diets as I have then you know this to be the case too. I've tried every low calorie diet. I've tried Weight Watchers (which is just a low calorie diet really) multiple times. All of those low calorie diets got me no where! I usually would gain back more weight than I lost from using them.
If you try the starvation method (that's what low calorie really is) and you try to eat only 1,000 calories a day then you will find that you do not lose as much weight as you think you will because your metabolism will adjust to this new lower amount of calories. It's really very counter effective in the long run. You need to find ways to increase your metabolism, not to make it go slower! Even if eating 1,000 calories a day worked, do you really want to spend the rest of your life starving yourself? Of course not. That's another reason why low calorie diets never work in the end. They are simply not sustainable. They will only keep you fat!
Yes until this past year I was fat my whole life. It was finally one year ago that I decided I was going to try something different. I decided that I had wasted enough time with low calorie diets that destined to fail as our bodies go into starvation mode and hold onto our fat for safe keeping. Sure that's a great trait to have if you are starving to death but it's not so helpful when you are trying to lose weight.
I found out what people who were really successful losing weight were doing. They were following different types of diets. Not low calorie but diets you can live with throughout your life. Diets which change your lifestyle in a core way which make you successful long term. And yes they were exercising. Exercise is important!
I found out that the reason I could never lose the weight wasn't so much that I was eating too much but that I was eating the wrong types of foods. In fact there are some foods you can eat that will actually help you lose more weight! I also found out the importance of exercise for changing my metabolism long term! I now feel confident that not only did I take the weight off, but that I can keep it off!
So how did I find all of this out? Three different guides that I found online actually. The first one is the one I based my diet on and it's called Fat Loss 4 Idiots. The second is the one I got hints from on great foods to eat that actually help me lose more weight and it's called Fat Fighting Foods, and the third one helped me to learn how to exercise effectively so that I could increase my metabolism long term and lose more fat! It's called Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle.
I really recommend that you try these three guides as well, I think that you will have the same success that I did. Haven't you failed with low calorie approaches long enough? It's time to try something different!

Six Pack Abs Exercises - 7 Easy And Crucial Cardio Exercises You Can Do For Six Pack Abs
By Nick Brighton
If you want to know how to get a six pack fast then one thing I always advise people to focus on (among various elements I'll explain later) are cardio workouts. I advise this for a number of reasons:
1. Cardio workouts are indispensable to an effective training program and general good health.
2. Cardio workouts that burn fat, torch calories and help you lose weight faster.
3. Cardio workouts increase endorphins, which give you a sense of well-being.
4. Cardio workouts will gradually intensify as you achieve your goals.
5. Cardio workouts and diet plans to help you get your leanest body ever.
Any when you're lean, the six pack will shine through easily. Then, at that point it's simply a case of toning up, and incorporating a sustainable diet (which you can learn more about at my website which shows you how to get six pack abs fast)
With 34% of Americans overweight, it's clear that many of us are not following the latest fitness guidelines that prescribe an hour of exercise a day.
Cardiovascular exercise simply means that you're involved in an activity that raises your heartrate to a level where you're working, but can still talk (aka, in your Target Heart Rate Zone).
Cardio Workout Routines
Running starts with good warm up.Cardio workouts will gradually intensify as you achieve your goals. Cardio is not just about running and using cardio machines, it is about participating in ideas that get your heart rate up. Cardiovascular exercise depends on your heart rate. So you want to focus on keeping your heart rate up without pushing it too high.
Cardio Workouts For Beginners
Exercise will help you lose weight and tone your body. If you are starting a new exercise program, you have to be careful about just jumping in. So you should use the following advice to keep on track with your cardio exercises...
These guidelines give you a general idea of how to incorporate cardio into your life. Running should be kept at an intense pace to make the heart rate reach the anaerobic levels.
This can be determined by getting the maximum heart rate and checking this regularly while doing the exercise. The number of beats should be multiplied by 6 to get the heart rate.
Resume walking at a pace that would bring up the heart rate up to 70% of the maximum heart rate. By definition, cardio workouts can be any exercise, such as:
Jogging,
Running,
Biking,
Swimming,
Elliptical machines,
Stairs,
Jumping rope
These will all raise and maintain your heart rate over a predetermined amount of time. My general guideline is to perform 30-45 aerobics with moderate-to-high intensity 3-5 times a week.
High intensity cardio training is a superior method of fat loss due to its effect on post workout metabolic rate. Once you know your target heart rate, during your cardio workout you should periodically check your pulse by using your index finger and middle finger to find the pulse below your ear behind your jaw.
Aerobic Exercises are the best Cardio/weight Loss exercises and bodybuilders swear by them. Even in the study that's frequently cited to show that interval training is "9 times better" than traditional cardio for fat loss, neither group lost a significant amount of weight. In my experience, "waves" of intervals interspersed with steady-state cardio works better for fat loss than interval training alone.
Ultimately, exercise is just like anything else but, unless it's important to you, you're never going to make time for it.
Exercise that trains your heart to rapidly increase and rapidly decrease will make your heart more capable of handling everyday stress. Exercise research suggests that you can lower your risks for heart disease with three 20-minute cardio workouts during the week.
You need to have a well balanced, concentrated diet along with a proven [http://secretsixpackabs.com/Which_abs_training_system_should_you_buy_.html]abs training program to see the best results in the quickest possible time.
